CS4 Product Compatibility

Adobe announced CS4 versions of After Effects and Premiere Pro on Sept 23rd, 2008. Red Giant Software has tested our products against the release versions of these host applications.

The table below shows the CS4 compatibility for all Red Giant products. For After Effects CS4, some Red Giant products are ready to go as is, while a few products will require a minor update for installer compatibility. Most versions of our software that are compatible with Premiere Pro will need an update for Premiere Pro CS4 due to changes in that host application.

If your version of a Red Giant product is not listed below, or if you don't know whether you have the current version, check our After Effects CS3 page for updates and upgrade requirements. Vist: After Effects CS3 Compatibility.

Note: If you have a version of our software that is compatible with After Effects CS3, then the minor CS4 update listed below is free update.

How to read the table

A green dot means the current version and installer will work; you just need to download the current installer from the Updates page. Entries with a version number indicate that a new version will be released to fix a serious issue with the product. For a list of compatible versions of our products, please visit: Updates.
