Adobe CS5 Updates and Upgrades
All products purchased on or after April 12, 2010 qualify for FREE 64-bit updates (Adobe CS5 compatible) as soon as they are available. Customers that purchased products prior to April 12, 2010 and choose to add 64-bit compatibility will need to pay for upgrades.
Note: Trapcode Particular 2, Magic Bullet PhotoLooks, and Knoll Light Factory for Photoshop qualify for free upgrades. See chart below.
Who needs to get the Adobe CS5 upgrades?
The Adobe CS5 upgrades from Red Giant Software are only applicable to users that choose to upgrade to After Effects CS5 and Premiere Pro CS5. You do NOT need to get the latest version if you are not using Adobe CS5.

An Update is a free downloadable compatibility update. An Upgrade is a feature upgrade that adds additional functionality to a product and may include compatibility updates. Read our policy on Upgrading.
The following table shows the product update and upgrade requirements for all products shipped before April 12, 2010. All products shipped after April 30, 2010 are compatible with After Effects CS5 and Premiere Pro CS5.
