Final Cut Studio 3 Product Compatibility

Red Giant Software is currently testing our products with the new versions of these applications. Just like you, we are only now testing against the final version of the products.

For Final Cut Pro 7.0 and Motion 4.0, some products are ready to go as is, but a few products will require a minor update for full compatibility. If the product says it requires an update then we do NOT recommend installing the product until the update is released.

Note: If you have a version of our software that is compatible with Final Cut Pro 6.0.5 or Apple Motion 3.0.2, then the minor update listed below is a free update.

How to read the table

The table below shows the compatibility for all Red Giant products. A green dot means the current version and installer will work. You can download the current installer from the Updates page. Entries with a version number indicate that a new version will be released to fix a serious issue with the product. For compatible versions of our products please visit: Updates.
