Film Fix on Hiatus

Just like in television when a show goes off the air for some period of time, our Film Fix product is going off the air. While we cannot be specific about the return date, the product will likely return in the future with some improvements and feature updates.

Why has Red Giant stopped selling Film Fix?

The product is out of date, and only works on older PowerPC processors on the Mac. Film Fix is also not optimized for multi-core machines, and this makes it difficult to support. Users may experience slow rendering on older machines. Red Giant Software cannot simply port and optimize the underlying code for Intel Mac machines, since the processing library is licensed from a third party.
