Advanced technology
FAME (Fast Accurate Motion Estimation) processes pixel-accurate image data at different scales, similar to the way the human eye views the world. The intelligent algorithms are used to drive the automated dirt identification process, making it possible for the computer to distinguish between moving objects and stationary specks of dirt.
Sophisticated Flicker Removal
The Flicker removal tool offers one of the industry's most sophisticated analysis systems for identifying the two major types of brightness changes: flicker across multiple frames and flicker within a single frame. Film Fix analyzes multiple areas of a frame over time to distinguish between normal scene brightness and flicker artifacts.
Stabilization
Damage to the film sprockets on old footage can cause gate jitter and weave, which results in distracting motion. The Stabilizer feature uses a software-based 2D translation to repair this type of footage in near real-time.
