Our tests have shown that Red Giant products perform best when used with the system configurations listed below. Although many of our products will run on older or less-powerful systems, the configurations listed below are the minimum system requirements for which we will provide technical support.
Apple Macintosh
Mac OS X 10.5.8 and later or 10.6.3 or later
Mac Intel system
Minimum of 1 GB of RAM
45 MB of hard drive space
Note: Please assure that you have enough space to accomodate transcoded files. ProRes files can take up many gigabytes of space, typically requiring 4-7 times as much space as the original H264 encoded files. This means a flash card with 4 GB of files might take up to 30 GB of storage in ProRes format.
PC / Windows
Currently Magic Bullet Grinder does not support any Windows Operating System.
Magic Bullet Grinder runs in a variety of host applications. Each purchase and serial number allows the owner to use the product on more than one host application but only on a single computer at any one time. Except where noted, the features are the same in all systems and host applications.
