This movie was created using three instances of 3D Stroke. One is used for the little "man" in the middle. Two are used for the logo that rotates around him. The two have identical settings, except for Z Clip that can be found under the Camera group. Z-Clip was set up so that the topmost layer renders the front half of the logo, and the other layer renders the back half. Then the "man" layer is sandwiched between them, thus appearing inside the logo. The circular shape of the logo was obtained using Bend in the Transform group with a value of 2.0.

Inspired by the movie TRON, this movie uses imported Adobe Illustrator vectors with 3D Stroke and the Repeater option. A neon-style volumetric glow is achieved by duplicating the 3D Stroke effect in two different colors, adjusting the internal opacity, and playing with Transfer Mode settings on the duplicated effects. The Trapcode Starglow plug-in is used to make the neon effect more realistic.

Create a looping movie of a glowing 3D line that appears to melt away over time. Start with a mask, adjust feather, thickness and end controls, and then use Taper to make the stroke’s end appear thinner. Transform controls cause the shape to bend around the X axis. Trapcode Shine is used to add the color. As a final step, set some Offset keyframes to slide the stroke along the path, and some X-Rotation keyframes to rotate the entire shape around the X axis.
