00 - Polar

by Pierre MICHEL

Trailer for the 12th polar festival in paris.
"Pierre Michel has recently posted two intense spots, one for AVP and one called Polar 2007. Each uses vfx-powered visuals and water-based tableaux to create drama, but I find the editing and sound design to be just as powerful as the imagery. Both spots have a kind of a over-the-top, melodramatic flair that some may be turned off by, but personally I want to crawl into these worlds and hang out for a bit." (motionographer)

01-Max TV Color Artist

by Sebastian Langnickel

I created the particle cloud with AE and Trapcode Partikular v2. The tv bumper is made for MaxTv Dubai and produced by a german post company "Acht Frankfurt visual catering".

01a - Fire Flower

by Pierre MICHEL

"Pierre Michel’s pierremichel.net/ latest film , “Fire Flower,” is an abstract vision of sensuality with hints of alchemical mysticism. Like Pierre’s other films, this project derives its power from an intense focus on texture and color backed by a dramatic soundtrack." (motionographer)

02 - SPIRE / Corporate Identity Launch Video

by KU-SCHNEIDER

"This is a video for the launch of a new identity for the danish communication design company Aakjærs. The idea for the video was to communicate the core values of the new identity in an abstract, subtle and visually beautiful way."

03 - Let Yourself Feel

by Esteban Diácono

"I've used Trapcode Particular 2 to create the particles, of course, and two Trapcode Sound Keys layers to drive the position, velocity and a few turbulence and spin parameters." Esteban's site: estebandiacono.tv

Fireworks Cascade

This video illustrates Particular's ability to produce both the fireworks and the resulting smoke effects.

Fireworks Mayhem

Use Particular to create realistic fireworks displays.

Particle Cloudflight

This example shows using the Smokelet particle type to simulate flying through clouds. Turn left and right by keyframing the camera's Rotation Z property — the rest is done with expressions. If you'd like to fly more through the clouds, try decreasing the Wind Y value.

It's all an illusion, of course! The camera is in fact standing still and the particles are driven towards the camera using Physics>Wind. The sky is created with a simple After Effects Ramp on a 2D layer that is expressed to rotate with the camera.

Particle Reveal

RGTV and The City

This title treatment, inspired by Sex in the City the Movie, uses a lot of our products. Trapcode Form generates the lights on the text, while Trapcode Particular makes the glints from the lights. Red Giant Warp creates the reflection, and Knoll Light Factory Pro creates the camera flashes.

Sci-Fi Particles

This motion graphics background uses Trapcode Particular for the particles. It uses Magic Bullet Looks to create the green colorization, the glow, the blur, and the vignette.

Video Game

This shot, inspired by Star Wars the Arcade Game (circa 1983), used Red Giant PlaneSpace in setting up the 3D elements (ship, asteroids), Red Giant Text Anarchy for the text elements, and Trapcode Particular for the explosions and stars.

Video: ASCENSION

ASCENSION from chris lavelle on Vimeo.

The finished piece. An experimental piece based around particle system generated by music and sound, pieced together to create a narrative of a cycle of life. Hopefully reflecting warmth, confusion discomfort and peace. This is the final version. Using Trapcode particular 2 and after effects. oh! and soundkeys.
