Product Eligibility
Upgrade Eligibility
You can purchase the discounted, upgrade version if your product is two versions or less behind the current version. For example, users of Primatte Keyer 2.x or 3.x can upgrade to version 4.0, but users of Primatte Keyer 1.6 must purchase the full version.
Free Upgrade Policy
If a new version of a product ships within 30 days of your purchase, you qualify for a free upgrade to the new version. To receive the free upgrade, please send an email to our sales team, sales[at]redgiantsoftware.com, and include your order number (for example S1234).

If you qualify, return to the store item page and purchase the upgrade version. The installer may check for prior serial numbers or installations during the installation process, just enter the provided upgrade serial number into the product installer.
Upgrade versus Update Policy
An Update is a free downloadable compatibility update. An Upgrade is a feature upgrade that adds addition functionality to a product and may include compatibility updates.
Our general company upgrade policy is to only charge for upgrades if we feel we are offering value-added features to the product. When we update a product for compatibility reasons or are fixing known problems, we generally offer these updates at no charge. This policy reflects the amount of engineering time required to produce an update. We hope you find this policy to be equitable and fair. On rare occasions, based on engineering efforts, we will charge for an update
Cross-grades Defined
A cross-grade is a full featured version that, like an Upgrade, offers existing customers a discount based on their ownership of another qualified product. An upgrade only offers a discount based on the ownership of a previous version of the same product.
Holiday Notice
