Our tests have shown that Red Giant products perform best when used with the system configurations listed below. Although many of our products will run on older or less-powerful systems, the configurations listed below are the minimum system requirements for which we will provide technical support.

*OS X 10.7.2 is only currently supported with products that are included in Trapcode Suite 11, Magic Bullet Suite 11 and Keying Suite 11.

Host Compatibility Support

Red Giant products run in a variety of host applications. Each purchase and serial number allows the owner to use the product on more than one host application but only on a single computer at any one time. Except where noted, the features are the same in all systems and host applications.

Video Cards

Some Red Giant products require or use the video card (GPU) for rendering purposes. Currently, Knoll Light Factory, Magic Bullet Colorista, Magic Bullet Looks, Magic Bullet PhotoLooks, Magic Bullet Quick Looks and Magic Bullet Quick Looks Limited use the graphics card to accelerate rendering.
