Compatibility

General Information

Some Red Giant Software products require or use the video card for rendering purposes. In general, this is done to accelerate the rendering of effects while delivering the visual identical results. We recommend cards from Nvidia and ATI for graphics rendering. Intel Integrated Graphics processors as found in the Apple Macbook and other notebook systems are specifically NOT supported for use with our products.

Currently, Knoll Light Factory, Magic Bullet Colorista, and Magic Bullet Looks use the graphics card to accelerate rendering. In the case of Magic Bullet Colorista and Looks, the products require a compatible graphics card or they will not render any output. Driver Updates

Before contacting Red Giant Software for support related to your video card please make sure that you have installed the latest video drivers for your system.

Mac OS X

On Mac OS X, version 10.5.2 and later now requires separate driver updates from the operating system updates. Check on the Apple Support website for updates related to your graphic drivers.

Windows

You will need to download and install the driver updates from the Nvidia and ATI website directly.
