Magic Bullet Instant HD: [PS-19] Do I need to do anything to footage shot with the DVX100 or Canon XL2 cameras before up-converting?

If you used the camera's built-in 24p, 25p or 30p (progressive modes) then no. Simply up-convert using Instant HD.
