(PS-202)
If you are receiving this message as pictured below while rendering in Final Cut Pro, this is a likely result of working in an HD resolution along with any of the following: rendering in 10-bit, 512MB or less VRAM on your system's video card and/or more than one monitor connected to system.

- If your video card has 256MB of VRAM you may refer below for possible solutions to get it working on your system. When working with an HD resolution it is recommended that your video card have at least 512MB of VRAM.
- If you have more than one monitor connected to your system, then unplug this extra monitor. An extra monitor will divide your VRAM in half.
- If you are rendering in 10-bit, then change to rendering in 8-bit (see below for instructions).
- If your video card has 512MB of VRAM then depending on the rest of your setup it may be preventing the product from working correctly.
- If you have more than one monitor connected to your system, then unplug this extra monitor. An extra monitor will divide your VRAM in half, instead of having 512MB you will have 256MB, which is below the recommended requirements.
- If you are rendering in 10-bit, then change to rendering in 8-bit (see below for instructions).
How to change your rendering to 8-bit
- Go to your Sequence > Settings… > Video Processing menu

- Click Render in 8-bit YUV then click OK
