After Effects warning: there are multiple copies of plug-in effect

 

 

After installing Primatte Keyer v5 you may receive this message while After Effects is loading, please complete the steps that are outlined below to remove this unneeded version.

 

  1. Quit After Effects.
     
  2. Go to the following directory on your hard drive.
    • Mac: MacHD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS#/MediaCore
    • Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS#\Support Files\Plug-ins
  3. Delete the "Primatte Keyer 4.1" or "Primatte Keyer 4.0" folder (depending on your verison of After Effects). Do not remove the "Primatte Keyer" folder, this is Primatte Keyer v5.

  1. Reopen After Effects.
