Serial number exchange for Trapcode and Digital Anarchy

We have switched Trapcode and Digital Anarchy serial numbers to a format consistent with other Red Giant Software products. The new format includes serial numbers for Trapcode Echospace, Lux, Particular and Soundkeys along with the former Digital Anarchy products PlaneSpace (3D Assistants Pro), Psunami, Text Anarchy and ToonIt.

If you own one of these products but have an old serial number from purchase through Trapcode.com or Digitalanarchy.com, you can use our Serial Number Exchange form to get a new license key. Simply fill out the form and a new key will be emailed to you. This will enable you to use the current Red Giant installers. Important: You may only exchange a key once. Please note that Trapcode Shine 1.0, Starglow 1.0 and 3D Stroke 2.0 serial numbers are not available for exchange, because these products have paid upgrades available from earlier versions.

Serial Number Delivery

Serial number(s) are sent to the email address that you provided at checkout. Serial numbers are viewable in your account within approximately 3 hours of purchase.

Some of the older Trapcode products use a "user name" and "key":

Authorizing the Software

All software ships as a demo version, so you will need to enter the serial code that you received via e-mail from Red Giant Software. During installation, you will see a screen with five entry boxes labeled "Serial Number". Type in the number exactly as it appears in our email and the software will be ready to use.

Most of our plug-ins can be registered within the host application they were installed to. First apply the plug-in within the host application, then open its Effect controls. Click the "Options" or “Register” button to register.

Retrieving a Lost Serial Number

Your serial number may be located on your own computer system if the product is still installed and serialized. If the product is not installed, the serial number may be retrieved again from Red Giant Software as long as the product was purchased directly from Red Giant. If the product was purchased from a reseller, please contact your reseller directly for your order information.
