In this rockin' episode of Red Giant TV, Motion Designer Harry Frank shows you how to create a realistic crowd scene using Trapcode Particular 2. He'll also create a similar scene using Trapcode Form.

You should set your preview resolution lower so it renders faster. Adding some Lux would be cool.

Not a bad tutorial, especially the rebuild with Form was really cool. CrowdControll Library seems really to be a great deal, I remember a year ago I tried to do a similar crowdcomposition, the footage would have cost about 400$ - and it wasn´t prekeyed! But to come back to the tutorial, I was a little bit dissapointed that Harry didn´t mention something more about the differences of Particular 1.5 and 2.0. I mean, is it really faster and is there still this strange behaviour that in large setups particles start to pop up suddenly? I never found a solution to this problem in Particular 1.5 and I hoped it would be solved with 2.0 but it wasn´t mentioned in the new features paper...
