Inspired by recent animated works that utilize music along with Trapcode Particular and Soundkeys, Harry Frank gives you guidance in creating particle-based visuals to match your audio.

Harry, everyone can do additive particles.
Where this tutorial would've shined would be in demonstrating how you can give particles the smokey, shadowy, almost liquid simulation feel that many of the videos on vimeo manage to create.

I have not tested the tutorial as of yet, but am downloading the video for it now.
The reaon why I am commenting before hand is the following.
For all that are having issues getting this effect to work, or your RENDER is SLOWWWW and or your have downloaded the product and do not know where it is located at or how to install it properly, amoung other issues.
#1: If your rendering is SLOW, please let us know your computer specs.
Mainly: memory, HD space, CPU Speed.
If you have low memory in your system, then this effect is going to take a toll on your system.
I suggest that you stop all programs that are not needed during the rendering process.
Virus Protection amoung other programs that could cause the render to become slower.
#2: Download the product to your desktop if you have a hard time finding it.
Unzip and install.
When you install, make sure that you install into the location where AE is located:
Example:
Q:\Adobe\After Effects CS4\Support Files\Plug-Ins
&
Q:\Adobe\After Effects CS4\Support Files\Presets
In my opinion, the installer needs to detect this on its own, to save the user time and stress.
When you open AE (If AE is already opened, REFRESH your Effects panel to get the products listed)
Go to Effects | Red Giant | Form (or) Whatever you are using from RedGiant.

I got download Trapcode form, etc to After effects cs5.. but I can't found it.. I dont understand.. where I find it Trapcode? Please help me..

Great tutorial loved it just one suggestion instead of using trapcode sound keys, just extract the keyframes from the audio file works like a charm. There is no need of extra computing time with a plugin when you have it for free and in the half of the time would be necessary when using the plugin.

I need help! I just finished my project following the main guide lines of this tutorial. When I render it, Est. remain time is 226 hours 53 minutes... Its going about 1 frame per minute. Anyone know why this is happening or what I should do?

Awesome Harry thank you! I'm fascinated by these audio driven pieces and the two Aharon mentioned have been mystifying me. What I really appreciated most was the explanation of some of the less obvious Trapcode settings... I follow these tuts regularly and often am left wondering what a particular setting is doing when I enter the suggested value. It's not always obvious even when you play around with different amounts. without the explaination I sometimes feel like a parrot just entering numbers ;-) This tut was particularly useful, thank you for your generosity!

Since Esteban Diácono published "Let yourself feel" on vimeo I'm fascinated by the dynamic and power of all these particles. I'm not quite familiar with expressions so far, but with the help of ure tutorial, it gets a lot easier.
